Our Approach
Our program represents the culmination of years of experience and passion for early childhood education. Having worked extensively in both public and private schools throughout Seattle, our directors decided it was time to create something truly unique—an environment tailored to meet the diverse developmental needs of young children.
At its core, our private preschool is designed to provide holistic support embedded directly into the daily program. This includes integrated occupational, speech, and behavioral support, ensuring that children receive the assistance they need as part of their natural day-to-day experiences.
The class is led by Jillian Whitney, a highly qualified educator with a master’s degree in special education and certification as a Behavior Analyst. With a commitment to individualized attention and care, the class size is limited to just 10 students, supported by one lead teacher and two assistant teachers. This exceptional teacher-to-student ratio ensures every child’s unique needs are met with compassion and expertise.
Our curriculum is thoughtfully crafted by developmental specialists and is grounded in the Floortime approach, pioneered by Dr. Stanley Greenspan and Dr. Serena Weider. This evidence-based methodology emphasizes meeting children where they are developmentally, following their lead, and building on their natural interests to foster emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
By integrating developmental expertise and therapeutic support into a nurturing and engaging environment, we aim to create a school where every child feels seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
